AR software for fractional CFOs has a different job from AR software for one finance team. You are with each client a few days a month, the clients run different ledgers and payment providers, and collections is daily work. The software has to keep every client’s receivables moving while you are with someone else, and keep each client’s data apart. Finero is the AR platform finance advisers run for their clients: one login, a separate workspace per client, each on its own ERP and payment provider.
Why is AR harder when you serve several clients?
Because the chasing stops when you are busy. Reminders go out when you have time, replies wait until your next session, and the aging report you inherit next month is worse than the one you left. Late payment is common: in the Atradius Payment Practices Barometer for North America, late payment affected seven in ten companies and overdue invoices averaged 23% of B2B receivables.
Each client also brings its own stack. One is on QuickBooks Online with Stripe, another on Xero, a third on NetSuite. A tool that only fits one of them, or makes you keep a separate login for each, adds work instead of removing it.
How does one login cover QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite clients?
Every client is a separate workspace under your one login:
- Each client company gets its own Finero workspace, connected to its own ERP or accounting system and its own payment provider.
- You use one login and switch between clients from the sidebar. Two browser tabs can show two clients side by side.
- Access is checked on every request, and switching clears the previous client's data from the browser, so one client's information never shows in another's.
- You join a client's workspace by invitation, so the client decides who has access.
- The partner dashboard shows every client you work with and their activity in one place.
- Plans have unlimited users and no setup fee, so adding an adviser to a client's workspace costs the client nothing extra.
Clients on QuickBooks Online or Xero use Core, which connects in minutes and goes live the same day. Clients on NetSuite, Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA, Sage or Dynamics 365 use Scale, with custom implementations in 1 to 2 weeks.
How Finero works across your clients
The client invites you
Each client company gets its own workspace and invites you into it, so the client decides who has access.
Connect the client's own systems
Their QuickBooks Online, Xero or ERP, and their own payment provider. On Core a QuickBooks or Xero client is live the same day.
Set the client's collections policy
Cadence before and after the due date, when to escalate, and which customers get a call from you instead of a reminder.
Fin runs it every day
Fin chases every open invoice, answers replies like “send me a copy” or “we’ll pay Friday”, and puts a card and ACH payment link on every invoice.
Switch clients from one login
Move between clients from the sidebar, or keep two clients open in two browser tabs.
Review every client in one place
The partner dashboard shows every client's activity, so your time with each client goes on the decisions, not the chasing.
Who answers customer replies while you are with another client?
Fin does. Most of the work in collections is the reply, not the reminder: a request for a copy invoice, a promise to pay on Friday, a dispute. Fin answers the routine ones in the client’s name, puts a card and ACH payment link on every invoice through the client’s own provider, and writes payments back to QuickBooks or Xero. The exceptions that need judgment come to you, with the history attached.
Separate logins per client, or Finero workspaces?
| A separate login per client | Finero workspaces | |
|---|---|---|
| Access | One password per client to keep | One login; the client invites you |
| Data separation | Depends on each tool | Every client in its own workspace; access checked on every request |
| Customer replies | You answer them between visits | Fin answers routine replies; exceptions come to you |
| View across clients | Rebuilt by hand before each meeting | The partner dashboard |
| Setup per client | Varies | QuickBooks or Xero live the same day on Core; enterprise ERPs in 1 to 2 weeks |
What can you show a client in the first 30 days?
- The cash at stake. The DSO calculator turns a shorter collection period into a cash figure the owner recognises.
- A cleaner aging report. Every open invoice followed up, disputes found early instead of at month end.
- Collected cash, client by client. Reviewed in your regular session, with the partner dashboard as the starting point.

How does pricing work when the client pays?
Each client company has its own plan, so the software is the client’s cost and your fee is for the advice. Core is $399 a month, billed monthly, with 200 successfully paid invoices included and a 30-day free trial. Every plan has unlimited users and no setup fee. Full details are on the pricing page. If you refer the client, the Finero Partner Program pays you a revenue share on every client who becomes a customer.
