Finero
Platform overview

Autonomous accounts receivable for B2B finance teams.

Finero is accounts receivable automation software that turns AR from a manual back-office job into an autonomous workflow. Invoices come in from your ERP. Payments are collected through your processor. Reconciled cash flows back into your ledger. Your team stops chasing and starts steering.

Invoices flow from your systems to Finero. Finero manages the payment flow, your provider processes your customer's payment, and payments are reconciled back to your ERP.
  1. 1. Your systems send invoices

Your ERP, accounting and commerce systems feed invoices into Finero. Examples include NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero and Shopify.

  2. 2. Fin runs the workflow

Fin, your AR agent, handles chasing and reminders, hosted payments, disputes and queries, and cash application. Your customer receives a payment link.

Modules

Six capabilities, one platform.

Each module works on its own. Together they replace the patchwork of spreadsheets, mail-merge tools and bolt-on payment pages most B2B finance teams rely on.

Fin. The AR agent

An autonomous AI agent that owns the collection cycle: scheduling outreach, drafting messages, processing payments at due date, and escalating when buyers go quiet.

  • Optimal-time multi-channel outreach
  • Escalation ladders by aging and value
  • Promise-to-pay tracking
  • Always-on, never forgets

Hosted payment experience

Branded invoice pages that accept card and ACH with one click. Buyers see exactly what's owed and can pay a single invoice or the full open balance.

  • Card-on-file via your processor
  • ACH / SEPA / Bacs via bank debit
  • Multi-invoice settlement
  • Self-serve buyer portal

AI dispute & query desk

Fin reads inbound emails about invoices, classifies disputes versus questions, summarises the issue, and routes context to AR, sales or ops with a one-click action.

  • LLM classification + summarisation
  • Dispute codes auto-applied
  • Threaded history per invoice
  • Escalation SLAs

Cash application & reconciliation

Payments are matched to invoices at the line level (including short-pays, deductions and lockbox files) and posted back to your ERP with full audit trail.

  • Auto-matching of card, ACH and wire
  • Lockbox / EFT file ingestion
  • Short-pay & deduction logic
  • ERP writeback with audit

What Finero is not

Clarity matters in fintech.

Finero sits in a specific seat in your stack. Here's where it doesn't sit, so you can evaluate it on the right terms.

Not a payment processor

We don't acquire transactions. You keep Stripe, Adyen, Worldpay or whoever you use today.

Not an ERP

We don't replace NetSuite, SAP or QuickBooks. We sync with them as the source of truth.

Not subscription billing

We collect on invoices. We don't generate recurring SaaS subscriptions.

Not a collections agency

We run your in-house collection workflow before you need an external collections agency.

Payment-provider agnostic

Keep the processor you already use.

Hosted invoice pages run through your existing payment provider: Stripe, Adyen, Worldpay, Authorize.Net and others. On your existing merchant agreement and payout schedule. Finero orchestrates collection; your processor keeps processing.

Can we keep Stripe (or Adyen, Worldpay…) and still automate collections?

Yes. Finero is payment-provider agnostic: hosted invoice pages run through your existing processor, on your existing merchant agreement and payout schedule. Switching, multi-homing, or adding providers later doesn't require rebuilding the AR workflow.

Does Finero charge a markup on payment processing?

No. Finero doesn't mark up processing. You keep your existing merchant agreement and pricing with your payment provider.

What does Fin decide on its own?

Within the policy your team sets, Fin decides when to contact each buyer, through which channel, in what tone, and when to escalate. It reads replies and routes disputes to the right person with the invoice attached. It posts matched cash to the ERP, and anything it cannot match confidently is surfaced as an exception for review rather than posted as a guess.

How do we keep control over what Fin does?

Your team sets the policy Fin works within: tone, cadence, escalation thresholds, and which accounts need sign-off before any contact. Role-based access limits who can change that policy, and a full audit log records every action Fin takes. Any message or posting can be traced back to a decision.

What happens when a buyer disputes an invoice?

Fin reads the inbound email, classifies it as a dispute or a question, summarises the issue, and routes it to AR, sales or operations with the invoice context and a one-click action. Dispute codes are applied automatically and the thread is kept against the invoice. Escalation SLAs stop it sitting unanswered.

How does cash application post back to the ERP?

Card, ACH and wire payments are matched to invoices at the line level, including short-pays, deductions and lockbox or EFT files, and posted back to the ERP with a full audit trail. Anything that cannot be matched confidently becomes an exception for review. Nothing posts as a guess.
